Production Technology
CONTI® PRO - Superior manufacturing processes

For textile-reinforced conveyor belts:

CONTI® CAMA
(continuous carcass manufacturing)

CONTI® DOBA
(continuous vulcanization)

For steel cord conveyor belts:
CONTI® ROLL
(continuous production of unvulcanized slabs)

For rubber slabs and special products:

CONTI® AUMA
(continuous slab production)

CONTI® CAMA textile cord belt production:
Continuous Carcass Manufacturing

We manufacture our unvulcanized products in a continuous process that combines optimum quality with maximum cost efficiency.

The advantages:

  • Continuous carcass manufacturing perfectly complements DOBA curing technology with matching production breadth.
  • Maximum adherence to specifications.
  • Production without fabric splicing.

Textile conveyor belt vulcanization CONTI® DOBA:
Double band unit

We vulcanize our textile cord conveyor belts on two double band units in a continuous run. An absolutely high-tech curing process for conveyor belts.

The advantages:

  • No curing transitions.
  • Optimum adhesion strength on the basis of good rubber penetration into tensile members.
  • Excellent surface finish on covers.

Steel cord production: CONTI® ROLL

Our Conti® ROLL roller head production equipment offers new product quality for steel cord belts. These are units for continuous manufacture of rubber slabs for steel cord belts of a consistently high quality from edge to edge.

  • The rubber slabs have no longitudinal splices up to a width of 112 inches and can be manufactured at a thickness of up to .71 inches thus eliminating the need for doubling rubber slabs due to production restrictions.
  • The conveyor belt provides longer service life and reduced maintenance costs.

Rubber slab production: CONTI® AUMA

On this curing aggregate, products up to 78.75 inches wide - CORREX® materials, for example - can be continuously vulcanized.

  • Less waste thanks to large production widths for the consumer and excellent cover finish.
